Handy Brothers Music

Many thanks to Handy Brothers Music for being a generous sponsor of the 2017 Songsmith Spring Concert and Songwriting Seminar featuring Terri Hendrix and Lloyd Maines.

Handy Brothers Music Company, Inc. was founded in 1918 by William Christopher 'WC' Handy Father of the Blues and his business partner Harry Pace.  Originally called Pace & Handy Music Company, Inc. and it later changed names after Harry Pace left the firm to open Black Swan Records, the first race records.  Handy Brothers still owns the original catalogue of music including classics such as St. Louise Blues, Beale Street Blues, Memphis Blues and many other Spirituals and pop tunes played on bandstands around the world. www.HandyBrothers.com
